Our Team

Patrick Hart is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, where he battled addiction for 10 years. He has been in recovery from his own addiction since 2006. Patrick received his education in addiction counseling from UCLA and completed all coursework with the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC) through Centaur University. He began as a Counselor at Sober College in 2007, and since founding Day By Day Living in 2008 has worked extensively with troubled adults and adolescents struggling to overcome addictive behaviors. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the NCCPT.

Patrick has the distinction of surviving extreme trauma, violence and homelessness. He possesses the firsthand knowledge of the commitment and focus that is required to reinvent oneself when one’s life becomes unmanageable, or has been violently interrupted. His personal experience combined with his training makes him uniquely qualified to guide troubled clients through the process of reclaiming their lives.
